3 different popular software products libraries use for website creation and maintenance.

     1.       Dreamweaver It is very customization, if you are able to code. You should be                   proficient at coding when using this package otherwise you could be in trouble. It               offers wider controls on every aspect of your website. You need to obtain a
Web hosting service or your own server for the site to be live. Ultimately
Dreamweaver is the best if you have the knowledge and know how to use it to
        its fullest.

I couldn't find a library site but there are many sites out there use Dreamweaver, such as our Victoria University WebCT.

2.       WordPress is popular blogging software. It's benefits are you don't have to program. If you are comfortable with the default appearance you don't need support from other blogs and it's free.

3.      Google sites, once again is a very simple and easy website creation tool, it allows you to build a mini website. I found Google sites very easy to use as you don't need to know much about the html codes as it's all done for you.

I believed that there are few libraries would use it but I haven't come across any of them yet.

An organisation might use blogging software to create a website.

Using a blog could be the most simple and useful thing to create a website in a small organisation. As it convenient, free of charge. The blog can be updated quickly. They are   also easily accessed by anyone and update anywhere. Because they are an online service,    they have their own customer service department so it is very easy to get help and is low  maintenance.

However, it doesn’t have the cooperation and tidy looks if too much details to be                                          added because the layout is very limit. The website could be out of dated or it might close                                  down. Therefore, it could be leaded to very unstable condition.
